Fearghus will start work on The Casement Project as part of Choreodrome 2015, The Place’s biennial summer research and development programme. For two weeks at the beginning of September, Fearghus will work with Mikel Aristegui, Philip Connaughton, Bernadette Iglich, Aoife McAtamney and Matthew Morris – five of the six performers in the stage performance of The Casement Project that will also include Theo Clinkard. The research includes a partnership with The British Library which is sharing archival material with the company, and also workshops with MicroRainbow International’s support group for LGBT refugees.
The company will show work-in-progress as part of Touch Wood on 11 September.
The completed stage work will return to The Place in 2016 as part of the Culture Ireland 2016 International Programme
