If the Invader comes (12th June-21st August, Jaywick Martello Tower)

After the success of Tabernacle in the Dublin Dance Festival, Fearghus latest collaboration with Dan Dubowitz opens in Jaywick Martello Tower on the 12th June and will be installed there until 21st August.

If the Invader Comes is a triptych of films that focuses on the psychology of vigilance evoked by the Martello Towers of England’s East Coast. If the Invader comes is Fearghus’s second collaboration with photographer Dan Dubowitz and follows their creation of Tattered Outlaws of History, the twelve screen installation based on the Martello towers of north county Dublin, that will also be exhibited in Jaywick Martello Tower until 21st August.

You can see a preview of the work on www.iftheinvadercomes.com

If the Invader Comes is commissioned by Commissions East as part of Fleet: Art in the Haven Ports. Fleet is a major cross-channel programme for temporary visual arts commissions and residencies.
